  This camp is bittersweet to me. My name is Mr. Galen Lowell and I experienced three wonderful summers here. The reason why I'm commenting under an alias is for privacy concerns, due to multinational corporations harvesting your activity to major corporations. Anyway, the program helped me grow personally and gave me the confidence to become the man I am today.
  
  Each camper get's three counselors. It's cleverly setup, because the Director Gordon Felt recruits overseas Counselors. The common channel used for Recruitment overseas is through Camps of America. These are highly mature young men and women. They have at least one year of college underway in relevant study. It's clever because the international component allows a camper to be exposed to international viewpoints.
  
  In my three years the activities included general swim, weekly dances, Assigned Area Play, beach front activities, basketball, rocketry, soccer, dodge ball (soft balls were used), frizbee, etc. It was wonderful because the administration is careful as to who is grouped with a particular cabin. It's not traditional, the Counselors have about two weeks worth of orientation before the camp actually begins. Here Gordoy does a phenomenal job at instructing his staff. They're understanding and really do care about their campers.
  
  In the evenings there is one counselor on duty and two are allowed the night off. Rules are enforced, campers are expected to behave appropriately and will be spoken to if necessary. Remember not every bunk mate will be one hundred percent perfect. Everyone has their own reasons as to why he or she has been enrolled in his program.
  
  You will find the people you meet here become your lifelong friends. I'm still in contact with several Counselors I had. They were mostly from Scotland and England.
